In 2009, Above & Beyond's adventure originally began under the name 'Partyspace', a name we carried until the end of 2023.

Our journey began with a focus on selling folding tents for both individuals and professionals. The folding tent was then a breath of fresh air in the market - easy to set up and widely applicable, with the addition of printing as a nice extra for professional use. Even today, the folding tent still proves its usefulness in many ways.

The growth in sales of folding tents did not only bring more demand for tents, but also enquiries about accessories and other types of tents. Expanding our range was inevitable and our range soon included star tents, pagoda tents and party tents.
Inflatable tents, stretch tents and sailcloth tents followed later. However, we also went beyond tents. Parasols, shade cloths and canopies were added to our range with equal enthusiasm.

Every product we introduce carries the same core values: the highest possible quality and perfect value for money. We not only maintain our existing product range, but also optimise the quality of our products on a daily basis. Customer satisfaction is our guide and feedback is the compass that shows us the way to improvement.

At Above & Beyond, we are committed to a principled belief: we do not market inferior products for which we cannot guarantee a solid lifespan. Quality products are the pillars of real and great value for our customers. We understand that our products have to withstand various weather conditions, and in case something does go wrong, we offer a wide range of spare parts to ensure continuity.

Our vision towards our customers has also remained unchanged over the years. We sell to everyone, both private and professional customers, both at home and abroad. We make no distinction in types of customers and treat everyone with equal pleasure. Our sales team is ready to help our customers every day.

In 2020, through the acquisition of Bonga Stretchtents, we added an extra dimension to our business: in-house production. Today, we are proud to have a 3,500 m² production facility in Ghent, where we do not only produce tarpaulins for different types of tents. To complete the picture, we have also added wood and aluminium machining to our operations.

We manage our own production process, which brings significant advantages. We have a direct influence and act swiftly, resulting in more flexibility for our customers. This allows us to be even more responsive to our customers' needs and manufacture customised products that perfectly match their expectations.

In-house production also opens the door to continuous innovation. Faster implementation of new materials and technologies is now possible. This approach enables us to lead the industry and deliver products that not only meet but actually exceed our customers' expectations.

To support our international growth, we opened a showroom and local office in Ede, the Netherlands, in early 2022. Later the same year, we expanded our local presence to Malaga, Spain.

With modest pride, we can say that we have grown into a company with an outlet in more than 20 different countries. More than 25 dedicated employees stand ready to serve our customers on a daily basis with passion and dedication.
